baked apple & custard pie

 1 x 22 cm Pie base, unbaked
 4 Apples peeled and sliced thinly.
 Sugar, fine 1 cup
 Thicken cream, 1 cup
 2 Eggs
 Vanilla custard powder, 1 tablespoon
 ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
 Butter, 40g
 Sultanas, 50g

 How to make:

1. Preheat oven to 180ºC and bake the pie base for 15 minute.
2. In a saucepan: mix the apples, butter, sultanas, sugar and cinnamon until tender.
3. In a bowl, mix the custard powder, cream and eggs together until all ingredients are thickened.
4. Place the apple mixture on the pie base and smooth over the custard mixture and bake for 30 minutes or until the pie topping is brown.
