This is a Pecorino cheese from Pienza, as seen in the gallery below.
Makes 2 servings
2 Pears
75g Pecorino Cheese
40 g Walnuts
2 Tablespoons, wild honey
1. Peel, core and cut the pears into quarters and place on a small plate.
2. Cut the Pecorino cheese triangle lengths and lay over the pear slices.
3. With a spoon, add the honey on top crossways.
4. Sprinkle the top with the walnuts cut in half.
It is best to prepare just before serving, to prevent the pear slices from becoming soggy.
