During our advent weekend visit in Munich, I wanted to visit Käfer with a friend who was visiting from Adelaide, so to experience such premium in this German family founded store. We stopped for a lunch and Sue ordered a beef salad and I chose prawns on risotto from the specials board. While it did take us a little while to get a table without having made a booking and due to the locals marking their seats in the restaurant; this gave us a little time to peruse around Käfer with its wine cellar and the eye candy of crafted cakes and sweets. The boutique section had provided shoppers' home wares and decorations, along with a tasteful gift-wrapping service that gave the parcels its dandy appearance!
